HAPPYDAYS CYCLES

Happy workshop (lq)

Happy Days Cycles is a social enterprise business, our main outlet is a shop and café based in Sowerby Bridge, Halifax. All profits go towards funding our work amongst the homeless in West Yorkshire. We are committed to journey with people to develop a love for cycling and enable them as individuals to reach independence. We value partnerships with churches, individuals, volunteers, local government and other organisations to promote integration into the wider community.

Our Vision

Happy days is intentional about preventing and relieving poverty for homeless and vulnerable individuals through relationship building: providing purpose; opportunity; and living in a caring community.

We want to see homelessness reduced and at risk people empowered to live independent and purposeful lives.

Sometimes a gentle loving nudge is all it takes to get someone back on track. For others, life has been turned upside down and we would want to offer them longer-term support.

Community

Happy Days Cycles works very closely with its parent charity Happydays, our shop helps to fund the community housing and the social worker Janet, along with other members of staff and social enterprise projects. We want everyone in our community to be active by volunteering in our local community.

Happy Days seeks to support homeless and at risk individuals through the provision of supported community housing, employment, education and training, nurturing them into living purposeful lives for the benefit of themselves and their community.

Sometimes a gentle loving nudge is all it takes to get someone back on track. For others, life has been turned upside down and we would offer longer-term support. We’d like to tell you how Happydays has helped turn people’s lives around, and how you can help do the same.
